A last minute happy hour at the Union Street Pub in Old Town drew quite a crowd on Wednesday, 12 November. The social event was originally scheduled for 5 November but was postponed after the Senior Leader Symposium was cancelled due to the government shutdown.

Capital Chapter NIP members gathered on 8 September at the Lighthorse Restaurant and Bar in Old Town Alexandria, ahead of the Giants/Viking game that evening. It was a strong turnout for a Monday night and a great chance to catch up after a busy summer!

It was a warm afternoon in June, but that didn’t stop NIP members and friends from meeting up at the Great Frogs Winery in Annapolis, Maryland on Saturday, 28 June.

Despite the threat of snow, NIP Capital chapter’s no-host social on 19 February at Aslin Beer Co. in Alexandria, Virginia had a strong turnout of Naval Intelligence professionals.

NIP’s Capital Chapter kicked off the year with their first social event on 22 January at the American Legion Post 24 in Old Town, Alexandria.

It was a great gathering of Naval Intelligence professionals at the Aslin Brewing Company in Springfield, Virginia on Wednesday evening, 23 October.

On 4 Jun, NIP’s Capital Chapter tried something a bit different for its monthly social. We decided to join Team RWB for their weekly 5K run/walk in Old Town Alexandria, followed by social time at the American Legion Post 24 for Taco Tuesday.

Under beautiful blue skies, members of the NIP Capital Chapter ventured out to the Bleu Frog Vineyards in Leesburg, Virginia on 20 April 2024—and the winery did not disappoint!

NIP members gathered on 9 April in honor of IBoss VADM Kelly Aeschbach’s visit to the D.C. area for the Sea Air Space 2024 Exposition taking place at National Harbor. The happy hour was held at the Irish Whisper Pub, with more than two dozen intelligence professionals showing up over the course of the evening.
