Stuart Jonathan Thad Shippereit of Savannah, Georgia passed away Monday 24 April 2023 at his home with family by his side. He was a NIP member from 1993 to 2015.

Larry T. Wright passed away on 4 May 2024 at age 87. 

Commander (Ret) Edward P. Gaskell, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on 25 April 2024 at the age of 96. Ed was a retired U.S. Naval Reserve Intelligence officer and a NIP member for over thirty years.

Paul “Scott” Lewis, a career Naval Intelligence officer, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, 30 March 2024 in Colorado Springs. 

LCDR (Ret) Conter was a U.S. Navy hero who, in addition to surviving the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and continuing to serve for 28 years, was trained as an Air Intelligence Officer, established the Navy’s first Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) course, and was part of a special task force that recommended the establishment of the Defense Intelligence Agency.

Captain (Ret) Robert B. Vosilus, 81, of Pinehurst, made his final deployment on Tuesday, 5 December 2023, after a lengthy battle with Parkinsons. Bob was an active member of NIP as a committee member of the Naval Intelligence Foundation (NIF) in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Ric Morgan passed away unexpectedly on Saturday 17 February 2024 while working in his law office at his rural Elbert County ranch.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend and shipmate, retired Lieutenant Commander Terry Wilton, 68, on 15 January 2024 in Columbia, Maryland.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of fellow NIP member, Paul Lowell, on 19 November 2023. He was 77 years old.

The Interment of retired Commander Ona C. Solberg, who passed away on 1 March 2022, will take place at on 9 November 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Arlington National Cemetery.  Attendees are asked to arrive 45 minutes in advance.  

Douglas M. Hackett, 83, died Friday, 6 October 2023 from COVID at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD. Mr. Hackett was a retired Commander in the U.S. Navy, having served in Naval Intelligence for most of his career.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Haski Beher on 15 August 2023. A dedicated individual with an unwavering commitment to service and family, Haski left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was 59 years old.
