When not deployed on active duty, Frank was a lie-long resident of the lovely islands, or what Hawaiians call a “kama’aina.”He was born in Honolulu on the eve of the attack at Pearl Harbor in 1936. He passed in the bustling coastal town of Kailua, which lies in the Ko’olaupoko District of O’ahu’s Windward Coast.
Services were held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at St. Andrew's Cathedral. Inurnment followed at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
