Hawaii Chapter Holds Social, Welcomes NIP Chair

On 13 May 2025, the Naval Intelligence Professionals Hawaii Chapter hosted a memorable pau hana (“done with work”) gathering at The Lanai restaurant on Mamala Bay, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. The evening featured special guests NIP Chair VADM (Ret) Bob Sharp and NIP Secretary CAPT (Ret) Stephanie Leung, both visiting the island. They joined more than 20 attendees for a relaxing and engaging event set against a stunning Hawaiian sunset.

In addition to the camaraderie and rich conversation, the chapter bid a warm farewell to CAPT Trent Fingerson, a longtime supporter of NIP, as he prepares for his next role at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in Washington, D.C. The event highlighted the strength and connectivity of the Naval Intelligence community—locally and across the globe.
