Hampton Roads Chapter Welcomes NIP Chair at Virginia Beach Social

NIP’s Hampton Roads chapter held a snap social on 13 May to take advantage of NIP Chair VADM (Ret) Bob Sharp’s presence in the Tidewater area. When the chapter learned VADM Sharp was coming to the area, word spread quickly for the team to assemble at Commonwealth Brewing in Virginia Beach. It was heartening to see a strong showing from the NIOBC students at the social, which offered an excellent opportunity for some of these newest members of the Naval Intelligence community to network and receive some timely mentoring. 

The next Hampton Roads chapter event is planned for 26 June at New Realm Brewing Company in Virginia Beach. NIOBC Class 26040 will be in attendance, so it will be another great opportunity to meet some of the newest Naval Intelligence Professionals.
