Hampton Roads Holds Midway Trivia to Honor 75th Anniversary of Battle

On 2 June 2022, the Hampton Roads chapter held a Midway Trivia Night at the Dam Neck Bowling Alley in Virginia Beach. Approximately 30 people attended, including NIOBC and A school students. Retired Rear Admiral Bob Hoppa, the chapter mentor, was also there. To set the stage for the trivia challenge, the Virginia Beach Military Aviation Museum Director, Keegan Chetwynd, gave a short presentation on aircraft and tactics. Teams competed for one of several door prizes provided by local sponsors, which included Gelzinis Group Realty, Cold Pressed Coffee Co., Atlantic Coast Mortgage, and Virginia Beach Military Aviation Museum. Second Fleet had the largest showing of any local command (thanks Captain Tom Gilmore!)
